Clinic Overview
Vital care for women of all ages
The Women’s Clinic at Harborview provides family planning, pregnancy and gynecological care to women of all ages.
We work in teams that include doctors from the UW School of Medicine, psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, residents (licensed physicians receiving advanced training), pharmacists, medical assistants, social workers, nutritionists, cultural case managers and interpreters.
Our prenatal care takes place at Harborview, and we deliver babies at UW Medical Center where our physicians are on staff. Maternity Support Services (MSS) and psychiatric consultations are also available at the Women's Clinic. In addition, we offer a full array of birth control options, including birth control pills and intrauterine devices.
The Women’s Clinic at Harborview provides services designed for the special needs of immigrants and refugees. We have Spanish-speaking providers and offer interpreter services for non-English speaking families as well as assistance dealing with health insurance paperwork and problems.
