Health News You Can Use
Primary and urgent care in Federal Way, when you need it

If you live or work in Federal Way, you don't have to travel far to get comprehensive healthcare.
UW Medicine Primary & Urgent Care at Federal Way offers appointments six days a week, including evening and same-day appointments. Walk-in urgent care services are offered seven days a week for non-life-threatening illnesses and injuries when your primary care provider is not available.
For your added convenience, medical advice is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Use MyChart to message your care team any time, or call your clinic during business hours and you'll receive a call back within a day. When the clinic is closed, you'll reach an after-hours consulting nurse service.
We offer telemedicine visits that are by secure video using a mobile device, tablet or computer for general consultation and obstetrics (OB) services. Established patients can request a telemedicine visit by calling the clinic during business hours or logging in to your MyChart account to book online.
The clinic has been awarded recognition by the National Committee for Quality Assurance Patient-Centered Medical Home Program. Board-certified providers offer a complete spectrum of primary care services including family medicine, internal medicine, geriatric medicine, behavioral health, sleep medicine and nutrition services. An on-site lab and digital X-ray are also available.
Medical services include standard wellness visits, tests, vaccinations and sport physicals.
UW Medicine Primary Care accepts most major insurance plans. Make your appointment for primary care services today.
This clinic is accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC).
A note about patient safety:
UW Medicine Primary Care is committed to providing care in the safest environment possible. We demonstrate our commitment by washing our hands before examinations, asking you to confirm your identity by verifying your name and date of birth at key times, and asking you to confirm the medications and allergies listed in your medical record to avoid errors, allergic reactions and drug interactions.
Our clinics do not provide supervision for children, but we are concerned for their safety during your visit. You or a responsible person must directly supervise children at all times while in the building. Please do not allow children to play near equipment, as they could injure themselves or damage the equipment.
UW Medicine Primary Care continually evaluates how we deliver care and ways to improve. To do that, we ask our patients and families for their input in several ways, including patient satisfaction surveys and through our patient and family advisory council.
