Ying Zhang, M.D. is a family physician who provides primary care to people of all ages. She has particular interests in women's health (OB care, gynecological care), family planning and contraception (IUD/implant, medication and aspiration abortion, uterine aspiration for miscarriage management, vasectomy), reproductive health, transgender care, and immigrant and refugee health. In addition to clinical care, Dr. Zhang's interests include resident teaching and primary care research.
Dr. Zhang enjoys caring for patients of all ages and backgrounds and developing long-term relationships with her patients. She is thankful to be working in a setting where interdisciplinary care can be catered to patients' needs. In addition, she values the contribution that differences in opinion, approach to healing, and culture play in the physician/patient relationship and shared decision-making process. She also welcomes the academic environment that facilitates learning and teaching among trainees, providers, and patients.
Dr. Zhang enjoys spending time with her family, hiking, trying out new foods/restaurants and traveling.
