About Xueyan Chen
Xueyan Chen, MD, PhD, is a board certified pathologist, a professor in the UW Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology, and medical director of the Fred Hutch Cancer Center Specialty Laboratories.
Dr. Chen has clinical expertise in the diagnosis and classification of hematopoietic neoplasms through the integration of histology, immunohistochemistry, flow cytometry, and molecular genetics, as well as clinical trial testing. Her research primarily focuses on characterizing the immunophenotypic and molecular features of hematopoietic neoplasms and on measurable residual disease testing. She is committed to ensuring that every patient receives the most accurate diagnosis through effective and cost-conscious testing.
