About William P. Harris
William Harris, M.D., is a board certified oncologist at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and UW Medical Center and a UW associate professor of Medicine, Oncology and Hematology. He is also is a consultant for the UW Primary Liver Tumor Multidisciplinary Clinic and Multidisciplinary Pancreatic Cancer Clinic, as well as moderator for UW's Gastrointestinal Malignancy Tumor Board.
Dr. Harris enjoys working in an environment that can provide high-level medical care to all members of our community. He specializes in caring for patients with gastrointestinal malignancies, with particular interest in treating primary liver cancers and bile duct cancers. Along with providing clinical care, he designs and conducts clinical trials focused on new treatment therapies for the GI tract and pancreatic cancers.
Dr. Harris earned his M.D. at Columbia. His clinical and research interests include emergency medicine for underserved populations and the molecular biology of lymphoma.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Harris enjoys soccer, tennis and cooking.
