Weston Powell, M.D., Ph.D., is chief resident of Pediatrics at Seattle Children’s Hospital and a UW instructor of Pediatrics.
Dr. Powell sees pediatric patients of all ages from birth until 21 years old for routine check-ups, acute concerns, and chronic medical conditions. He feels the best part of caring for children is watching them grow and develop with each visit. From birth to young adulthood, every stage is exciting and an opportunity to support parents as they raise and nurture their children.
Dr. Powell earned his M.D. and Ph.D. at UC Davis. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Phi Beta Kappa and the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society and is PALS and NRP certified.
In his free time, Dr. Powell enjoys soccer, sailing, reading and spending time with his wife and children.
