Vivian Oehler, M.D., is a board-certified physician and a UW associate professor of Hematology and Oncology.

Explaining complicated treatment choices to patients in ways that will allow them to make the right choices is very important to Dr. Oehler. She feels her relationships with patients during difficult times is one of the most rewarding parts of her job.

Dr. Oehler earned her M.D. at Case Western Reserve University. Her clinical and research interests include the molecular biology of chronic myeloid leukemia progression and its transplant outcomes.

Personal Interests

In her free time Dr. Oehler enjoys music, hiking, reading novels and traveling.
