Vin Gupta, M.D., M.St., M.P.A., is a pulmonary and critical care physician at UW Medicine and a UW assistant professor of Health Metrics, Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine and Global Health.

Dr. Gupta specializes in the care of the critically ill. His clinical work has spanned both civilian and military medicine over the past decade with an overarching focus on global public health. He strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Gupta earned his M.D. from Columbia and his M.P.A. from Harvard. He helps lead research on the global burden of disease related to tobacco.
