Biography

V.K. Gadi, M.D., Ph.D., is an oncologist at SCCA and a UW assistant professor of Oncology. He also serves in the Clinical Research Division at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

Dr. Gadi specializes in caring for patients with breast cancer. The focus of his interactions with patients is providing information about care options so patients and their loved ones are able to choose what is best for their needs. As a trainee physician, Gadi found many specialties in medicine to be fascinating—endocrinology, cardiology, neurology and oncology. Time and time again he found that he most enjoyed being with cancer patients and their families. Their expectations, struggles and victories were the ones that he found most compelling. He just needed to be part of that.

Dr. Gadi earned his M.D. and Ph.D. at the University of Alabama.
