Vid Yogeswaran, MD, MS, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist specializing in general cardiology and adult echocardiography. Her clinical approach emphasizes patient-centered care, prioritizing patient education, shared decision-making and empowering patients with the knowledge and tools needed to improve their cardiovascular health.
Dr. Yogeswaran’s clinical expertise includes general and preventive cardiology, with a focus on primary and secondary prevention of cardiovascular disease and the integration of adult echocardiography and evidence-based medicine into comprehensive cardiovascular care.
She earned her medical degree from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at the University of California, San Francisco. She later completed a general cardiology fellowship, advanced training in adult echocardiography and a postdoctoral research fellowship in cardiovascular epidemiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine, where she also earned a Master of Science in epidemiology from the School of Public Health.
Her research focuses on identifying novel cardiovascular risk factors across diverse patient populations, with a particular emphasis on South Asian health. Her work has been supported by the University of Washington School of Medicine, the Division of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society.
Dr. Yogeswaran enjoys pilates, hiking, research, and spending time with her friends and family.
