Biography

Ulrike Mietzsch, M.D., is a board certified physician at Seattle Children’s Hospital, co-director of the Neuro-NICU at UWMC and Children’s and a UW associate professor of Pediatrics.

Dr. Mietzsch’s special interest is in neonatal neurocritical care. Her main focus is improving brain health and long-term neurodevelopment outcome of newborns through quality, clinical and translational research.

Dr. Mietzsch earned her M.D. at Humboldt University, Berlin. She is board certified in both Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and Pediatrics.
