Biography

Timothy Eoin West, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Chest Clinic at Harborview, director of the UW International Respiratory and Severe Illness Center, a UW associate professor of Medicine and Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and an adjunct associate professor of Global Health.

Dr. West who cares for patients with lung diseases in the clinic and in the hospital as well as for patients who are critically ill in the intensive care unit. He strives to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with patients, their families, and other members of the medical team.

Dr. West earned his M.D. at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is triple board certified in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Internal Medicine. His clinical and research interests include general pulmonary and critical care medicine with a particular focus on international lung diseases.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. West enjoys personal fitness, outdoor activities, reading and playing the cello.
