About Timothy Eoin West
Timothy Eoin West, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Chest Clinic and Medical Director of Bronchoscopy Services at Harborview. He is a UW Professor of Medicine in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and is an adjunct Professor of Global Health. Dr. West cares for patients with lung diseases in the clinic and in the hospital as well as for patients who are critically ill in the intensive care unit. He strives to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with patients, their families, and other members of the medical team. Dr. West earned his M.D. at Medical College of Virginia/Virginia Commonwealth University. He is triple board certified in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Internal Medicine. His clinical and research interests include general pulmonary and critical care medicine with a particular focus on infectious lung diseases.

In his free time Dr. West enjoys personal fitness, outdoor activities, reading and playing the cello.
