Ticara Onyewuenyi, MD, MPH is an OB-GYN and current clinical fellow in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Onyewuenyi’s clinical practice is dedicated to expanding access to fertility care for marginalized and underserved populations. She brings compassion and empathy to her work, recognizing the emotional, physical, and financial challenges that patients face when navigating infertility. Her expertise includes infertility treatments, in vitro fertilization (IVF), intrauterine insemination (IUI), egg/embryo freezing, fertility preservation for oncology patients, LGBTQI+ family building, and reproductive surgery. Dr. Onyewuenyi is committed to providing personalized, inclusive care that meets the unique needs of every patient.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Onyewuenyi’s research focuses on improving IVF success rates among underrepresented minorities, understanding the psychosocial factors influencing fertility treatment, recurrent pregnancy loss, and reproductive physiology. She is particularly interested in exploring the impact of stress and immune function on subfertility and advancing innovations in reproductive surgery.
