Thomas H. Norwood, M.D., is a board certified cytogeneticist in Pathology at UW Medical Center and a UW professor emeritus of Pathology.

Dr. Norwood believes that he must provide accurate information about genetic abnormalities that he may encounter. This information must be presented in such a fashion that both the clinician and the patient understand its significance.

Dr. Norwood earned his M.D. at the University of Maryland. He is board certified in Clinical Cytogenetics by the American Board of Medical Genetics. His clinical and research interests include cytogenetics and mechanisms of tumor progression.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Norwood enjoys reading and bird watching.
