I've been seeing this dr. for close to 30 yrs. He is very through and explains everything in away I understand what he talks about. The assistant is very through as well in documenting everything I talk about he is very calming and assuring I will not go to another dr.

Dr. Jansen is wonderful. Lack of a scribe due to Covid crisis made the visit longer and not as in depth as usual. He is amazing when supported by a scribe! Please rectify this. Thanks.

About Thomas H. Jansen
Thomas H. Jansen D.O., M.A. is a board certified family physician with a special interest in sports medicine. He has practiced continuously in Ballard for more than 30 years. He has expertise in osteopathic manipulation and a varied practice that includes adult primary care, musculoskeletal injuries and preventative medicine.
Dr. Jansen received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from The Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is an adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Clinical Medicine at Pacific Northwest University's College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Jansen's clinical interests include Primary care, sports and musculoskeletal injuries, and osteopathic manipulation.
He takes great joy in working hand-in-hand with his patients to reach optimal health and fitness. Each fall, Dr. Jansen serves as team physician for Shorecrest High School and as event physician for the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society's Pineapple Classic.
Dr. Jansen enjoys skiing, snowshoeing, boating and backpacking. He is a former Eagle Scout.
