About Thomas Grabowski
Thomas Grabowski, M.D., is director of the UW Medicine Memory and Brain Wellness Center and UW Integrated Brain Imaging Center. He is also a UW professor of Radiology and joint professor of Neurology.
Dr. Grabowski is an expert on the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting memory, language and cognition. Dr. Grabowski’s clinical interests include Alzheimer’s disease, vascular dementia, frontotemporal dementia and other related neurodegenerative diseases causing cognitive impairment.
His research interests include the organization of language and semantic memory in the brain, use of MRI for functional brain imaging, and use of functional MRI to understand the systems organization of the brain and to detect early signs of degenerative disease.
Personal Interests
In his spare time, Dr. Grabowski enjoys photography, hiking, exploring the American West, participating in his church community and spending time with his family.
