Terah Hansen, M.S., is a board certified genetic counselor at the Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic at Yakima.
Hansen meets with patients to discuss prenatal testing options, risk factors, and abnormal results. She believes in the importance of a patients understanding their situation and choosing the pathway that best suits their needs. She strives to provide correct and appropriate information and to create a comfortable and supportive environment. She is honored to be involved throughout the patient's experience and is interested in the different perspectives and approaches they take.
Hansen received her medical education from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts. Her clinical and research interests include pediatric, adult, prenatal and cancer genetics.
In her free time Hanson enjoys spending time with family and friends.
