About Tanya Hathaway
Tanya Hathaway, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist at the UW Medical Center–Roosevelt Dermatology Center and the Fred Hutch Cancer Center. She is a Clinical Associate Professor in the UW Department of Dermatology.
She believes in providing the most up-to-date and relevant information available to patients to engage them in their medical care, and to use evidence-based treatments whenever possible. She strives to be compassionate and accessible to patients, treating them as she expects her friends and family to be treated. Dr. Hathaway strives to provide the most comprehensive and highest level of care possible. Her primary goal as your dermatologist is to cultivate a long-term relationship that puts the health of your skin first and foremost throughout every decade of your life. She guides you in understanding true skin health through the latest science and evidence-based medicine, empowering you to make informed decisions aligned with your personal health goals and values.
Dr. Hathaway specializes in all aspects of medical dermatology especially pertaining to the diagnosis, work up, treatment of skin cancer and melanoma. She also has a special interest in utilizing the newest scientific tools, technology to assist in the monitoring and diagnosis of melanoma in high-risk individuals.
Personal Interests
In her free time, Dr. Hathaway enjoys being with her family including hiking and spending time in the mountains with her dog, reading, and cooking.
