Dr. Pham is a UW professor of surgery who practices at Harborview Medical Center. He focuses his practice on the care of patients with burns. In July 2018, Dr. Pham became director of the UW Medicine Regional Burn Center.

Dr. Pham earned his bachelor's and his M.D. from the University of California, San Diego. He completed general surgery residency at UC Davis. He first came to the University of Washington in 2005 for fellowship training in burns, trauma and critical care. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.

His primary research efforts focus on injury responses in older adults with burns. His second focus is to improve access to care, by developing a regional telemedicine program for burns.

Personal Interests

Dr. Pham enjoys spending with time with family and watching his children grow.
