About Suzanne M. Dintzis
Suzanne Dintzis, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified pathologist at the University of Washington Medical Center and a Professor of Pathology.
Dr. Dintzis believes it is imperative that an accurate pathology-based work-up of breast cancer is provided to help decide appropriate treatment options. She understands the patient anxiety related to waiting for a pathology result and has a goal of rapid turnaround times to limit this time of uncertainty.
Dr. Dintzis earned her M.D and Ph.D. from Stanford. She is actively involved with the planning and implementation of institutional anatomic pathology quality and patient safety process improvements. Her current research interests include breast cancer research and exploring the interfaces between quality of care, transparency and communication.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Dintzis enjoys being with family, hiking, backpacking, skiing and gardening.
