Susie Ball, M.S., is a board certified genetic counselor at the UW Medicine Maternal Fetal Medicine Clinic at Yakima.
Ball provides a full range of genetic counseling services to residents of central Washington, so they don't have to travel to Seattle for services. These include genetic counseling for prenatal, pediatric, cancer or adult conditions. Her favorite part of genetic counseling is to be able to explain a complex issue to a patient so that she and her family understand the issue and their options. She strives to provide complete and accurate information to families so they are best equipped to make decisions about their health care.
Ball earned her M.S. at the University of Colorado.
Ball moved to the Pacific Northwest because of the outdoor activities. She enjoys camping, backpacking and any kind of travel. She also likes the dry weather on the east side of the Cascades.
