Biography

Supriya Saha, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified oncologist at SCCA and a UW assistant professor of Medicine and Oncology and an adjunct assistant professor of Genome Sciences.

Dr. Saha studies a form of liver cancer called cholangiocarcinoma, or biliary tract cancer. His aim is to transform the standard of care in cholangiocarcinoma from combination chemotherapy for all patients to precision medicine with a specific targeted therapy regimen designed for each patient.

Dr. Saha earned his M.D. from UCLA. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology. His research interests include patient-derived xenografts and cell lines to understand the fundamental pathogenic mechanisms of liver carcinogenesis and to identify new targeted therapies for specific genetic subsets of this disease.
