Dr. Ozog is a 4th generation Seattle-ite who grew up in small town Central Pennsylvania, but is very excited to be back living in the Pacific Northwest after a brief 30 year hiatus. He did undergrad at UC Berkeley, then headed south for medical school at UC San Diego and PhD training at the Scripps Research Institute. During grad school he studied how to improve gene therapy and gene editing for hematologic and infectious diseases, and still loves to talk about CRISPR, viruses and other nerdy things.
