BiographySteven Klein, M.D., is a board certified neurosurgeon at Northwest Neurosurgery and a UW assistant professor of Neurological Surgery.
Dr. Klein specializes in treating cranial and spinal neurosurgical disorders, including complex spinal disease, brain tumors, pituitary tumors, cerebrovascular disease and skull base tumors. He takes pleasure in providing personalized, high-quality care to his patients.
Dr. Klein earned his M.D. from Vanderbilt University. His clinical interests and training include transnasal approaches to the pituitary and base of skull. He is expert in the application of stereotaxic radiosurgery with the Gamma Knife and surgery for Parkinson’s Disease.
Personal InterestsOutside of the clinic, Dr. Klein enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He also enjoys skiing and boating.
