Stephen D. Smith, M.D., is a board certified hematologist and oncologist at SCCA, a UW associate professor of Oncology and Medicine and an associate member of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

Dr. Smith believes every lymphoma patient deserves up-to-date, thorough information and compassionate care, as well as access to cutting-edge therapies through clinical trials.

Dr. Smith earned his M.D. from USC. He is board certified in both Hematology and Oncology. Dr. Smith is a member of the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology. He is active in teaching, review of manuscripts and publication of original research on lymphoma prognosis and therapy. His clinical and research interests include lymphoma and chronic lymphocytic leukemia, immunotherapy and kinase inhibitor therapies.

Personal Interests

Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with family, which gives him balance. Running, sliding, biking and otherwise traveling together around the beautiful Pacific Northwest, in every season, is our joy.
