About Stephen C. Morris
Stephen Morris, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician in the Emergency Department at Harborview and UW Medical Centers, UW Medicine's lead for Disaster Preparedness and Education, director of the UW Academic International Emergency Medicine and Global Health Certificate Program and a UW assistant professor of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Morris' patient care preference focuses on vulnerability, whether it is someone who is vulnerable due to their social situation, severe illness or mental health concern. He feels it is a privilege to be able to care for them during their time of need.
Dr. Morris earned his M.D. at the UW. His clinical and research interests include global health, health systems development, disaster medicine, trauma and infectious disease.

In his free time Dr. Morris enjoys family, literature, theater and travel.
