Stephen Johnson, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Sports Medicine Centers at Husky Stadium and Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Rehabilitation Medicine.
Dr. Johnson aims to provide his patients with accurate diagnosis, sound treatment, professional guidance to promote educated health choices, and personal encouragement so his patients can take an active role in their own healthcare.
Dr. Johnson earned his M.D. at the University of Toledo, Ohio. He is quadruple board certified in Sports Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Musculoskeletal Sonography and Electrodiagnostic Medicine.is clinical interests include non-operative treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, spine medicine, interventional spine procedures, diagnostic and therapeutic musculoskeletal ultrasound, and electrodiagnostic medicine. His research interests include efficacy of interventional spine and ultrasound guided procedures.
During his spare time, Dr. Johnson enjoys hiking, running and playing basketball.
