Stasia Turner is a board-certified family nurse practitioner specializing in orthopedic management of benign and malignant tumors. Stasia has 10 years of experience in the management of chronic pain conditions and has been at SCCA since 2015. Stasia is a lifelong Seattle resident with deep roots in the community. She attended the University of Washington and graduated with a BA in psychology. She worked in the criminal justice system for five years in King County before earning her master’s in nursing at Seattle University in 2009.
Stasia’s unique background has made her keenly aware of the challenges facing vulnerable populations, and she is a passionate advocate for her patients’ best interests. She sees the patient provider relationship as a partnership enriched by the patient’s experiences and informed by emerging research. Stasia upholds the highest standards of best practices and is constantly amazed by the synergy of medical science and the resiliency of the human spirit.
Stasia enjoys hiking, swimming, biking, spending time with friends and family and reading true crime, historical fiction and fantasy novels.
