About Sindhu Cherian

Sindhu Cherian, M.D., is a board certified hematopathologist for UW Laboratory Medicine and a UW associate professor of Laboratory Medicine.

Dr. Cherian enjoys being engaged with the clinical team.

Dr. Cherian earned her M.D. at Emory University in Atlanta. She is board certified in both Hematology and Clinical Pathology. She is a member of the International Clinical Cytometry Society where she has served on the Education Committee for several years. Her clinical and research interests are primarily in the areas of hematopathology and flow cytometry.

In her free time Dr. Cherian enjoys gardening and hiking.
