Shilpa Vyas, M.D., is a radiation oncologist at UW Medical Center.
Dr. Vyas specializes in head and neck cancers, central nervous system tumors, skin cancers, gynecological malignancies and gastrointestinal tumors. She has a passion for radiation oncology and a great interest in learning about different types of cancers and treatment options available. She feels the two most important things for a physician are commitment to the goal of cure and dedication in providing the utmost care. Her aim is to not only provide the best possible treatment for my patients, but also provide support to the family so they can fight this battle together.
Dr. Vyas earned her M.D. at Gandhi Medical College in India. Her research interests include newer applications of proton beam therapy and hypofractionated radiation including SRS and SBRT techniques.
In her free time Dr. Vyas enjoys reading fiction, listening to classical music, playing violin, cooking and spending time with her family.
