BiographySharon Kwan, M.D., M.S., is a radiologist at UW Medical Center, Harborview and the Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, and a UW associate professor of Radiology. She performs minimally invasive procedures, with a clinical focus on liver cancer and uterine fibroids.
Dr. Kwan feels fortunate to work with a talented, dedicated multidisciplinary team with access to the latest technologies and treatments. All patients are unique, and Dr. Kwan believes every plan should consider the specifics of a patient's disease and their personal values and preferences.
Dr. Kwan received her M.D. from Stanford University, during which time she co-founded a student-run free clinic for the underserved. She has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles. In 2014 she became the first female interventional radiologist to receive the Gary Becker Young Investigator Award from the Society of Interventional Radiology Foundation.
