About Shane Erik Ottmann

Shane Ottmann, MD, is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in abdominal transplant surgery. Dr. Ottmann strives to listen carefully to his patients' concerns in order to provide the best outcomes for their well-being. Dr. Ottmann’s areas of clinical expertise include abdominal surgery, dialysis access, liver transplant, kidney transplant, pancreas transplant, live donor transplant, hepatobiliary surgery, laparoscopic, and robotic surgery. He is also the Surgical Director of the Living Donor Liver Transplant (LDLT) Program, Surgical Director of the Liver Transplantation Program, and the Professor of Surgery, Transplant Surgery at the University of Washington.
