Dr. Tong care for his patients He is on top of taking care all of our medical care. His team is the best.

Dr Tong is the best PCP I've ever had and I'm old and have chronic issues (e.g. I've had quite a few). He is empathetic, a very good listener and above all, respectful. I have chronic pain and migraines and have been treated quite badly by doctors, nurses pharmacists, etc who assume I am being untruthful. I NEVER lie to my doctors or attorneys!! That would only hurt me. He is such a great doc, I do not want to move away, although my circumstances might make this a necessity in the future. I mean this with all my heart!

Dr tong is a fabulous PCP. My chronic health issues have led to some docs, pharmacists, etc treating me very disrespectfully. He is never rude, I always felt heard and respected. I feel very lucky.

About Sebastian T Tong

Sebastian Tong, MD, MPH is a board-certified family physician and addiction medicine specialist. He is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at UW School of Medicine where he sees patients, conducts research and teaches. He is also the Associate Director of the WWAMI region Practice and Research Network. Dr. Tong believes in a holistic, patient-centered approach to patient care. He aims to provide the most evidence-based care to patients taking into consideration their preferences and values.

Dr. Tong's clinical interests include whole person, patient-centered primary care, maternity/pregnancy care, and care of patients with addiction.

Personal Interests

Dr. Tong enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, camping and biking; working out at CrossFit; and playing guitar and piano.
