Biography

Scott Ramsey, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified physician at the General Internal Medicine Center at UWMC-Roosevelt and SCCA and a UW professor of General Internal Medicine and an adjunct professor of Health Services and Pharmacy. He is also a member in public health sciences at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

Dr. Ramsey likes to work with patients who are actively involved in their care.

Dr. Ramsey earned his M.D. from the University of Iowa and his Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. His clinical interests include cancer prevention and screening, preventive medicine and management of chronic conditions such as high blood pressure and diabetes.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Ramsey enjoys bicycling, skiing, hiking and reading novels.
