The doctor talked to me and made option that I was comfortable with [...]

This was the first time I have felt seen, heard, and as if the Dr. cared about helping me get better. He explained everything in a detailed way that I understood exactly what was going on with me, I understood our go forward plan, and I left feeling optimistic that we will get to the bottom of things and I will be healed.

Dr Khandelwal was wonderful. He explained the pros and cons of potential surgery and was extremely professional, but also warm-hearted, sincere, and honest in his explanations of potential risks and side effects. My husband and I were both incredibly impressed and appreciative of his personable demeanor and honesty. Even after I decided to wait on the surgery, he was so supportive of my decision and even said, "I can tell you are relieved." I have never had such feedback from other docs before (meaning that he perceived how I felt emotionally and acknowledge this). We are truly grateful for him. If I decide to have fundoplication surgery in the future, I would be very pleased to have him as my surgeon.
