Mui is the best!

Mui has been wonderful to work with. She's very knowledgeable, very understanding of migraines and how difficult they make life, she's kind, friendly, and always makes sure I understand and agree with the care plan we put together.

I was driving from Olympia to the Roosevelt location. There was a terrible accident causing significant delays. I tried calling and was on hold for 25 minutes. I was called back but it wasn't the UW headache clinic. They tried to reach someone and no one answered. They said they would submit an urgent message. I ended up being 25 minutes late. I felt so embarrassed even though I had called to explain. When I arrived the receptionist said, I will see if your provider can still see you. This was very upsetting to me considering how far I had come. Mui did agree to see me. I have never been late and definitely panicked at the thought I could be turned away even after trying to call. It didn't feel sensitive how the receptionist handled it. But Mui and her nurse were so understanding, supportive and moved through my appointment very fast. Grateful for Mui and her team. Just felt frustrated with the phone system and the reception team not being aware of my call.
