About Sarah Eleanor Leyde
Sarah Leyde, MD, is a board-certified physician in internal medicine and addiction medicine. She is an Assistant Professor of General Internal Medicine at University of Washington School of Medicine.
Dr. Leyde enjoys forming strong, collaborative relationships with her patients. She gets to know her patients as people, beyond their health problems. When making treatment decisions, she balances the latest scientific evidence with the unique needs of the individual. She enjoys treating people with substance use disorders and is a non-judgmental, empathetic listener.
Her clinical and research interests include: medical education, incorporating addiction medicine into primary care, and improving care for people experiencing homelessness.

Dr. Leyde enjoys family time and staying active with hiking, yoga, and tap dancing.
