Samatra Doyle, A.R.N.P., is a board certified nurse practitioner at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and a UW teaching associate of Medicine and Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.
Doyle treats sarcoma patients within the general oncology clinic. She is also involved in several research studies—important elements to improving cancer treatment. Every patient has a unique journey. Sarcoma is a rare diagnosis and most of my patients have never known anyone else who has been diagnosed with this disease. Every patient deals with their diagnosis differently. I try to make space for and respect everyone’s coping mechanisms. I remind myself that although they are a patient to me, to many other people they are a cherished mom, dad, sister, brother, son, daughter or friend.
Doyle received her medical education at the UW.
In Samatra's spare time, she has taken up running and enjoys reading books, cooking and being with her partner and their twins.
