Sabina Hossain, A.R.N.P., is a board certified nurse practitioner with UW Medicine’s Glycemic Control Consult Service and a UW teaching associate of Medicine.
Hossain finds therapeutic lifestyle changes and patients' perceptions of chronic disease management of particular interest. Patients who are resilient and motivated to make changes to diet, exercise and smoking often do the best in managing their prediabetes, Type 2 diabetes and also Type 1 diabetes.
Hossain received her medical education at Yale. Her clinical interests include pre-diabetes, Type 1 and 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes, insulin pump therapy and continuous glucose monitoring therapy.
In her free time Hossain enjoys hiking, cooking and eating.
