Ryan Kimmel, M.D., is a board certified psychiatrist, medical director of Hospital Psychiatry at UW Medical Center and a UW associate professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.

When working with patients, Dr. Kimmel takes a collaborative approach that respects their right to weigh the impact of their symptoms versus the impact of treatment. He also admires his patients’ resilience in the face of serious psychiatric and medical co-morbidity and enjoys helping them get through tough situations.

Dr. Kimmel earned his M.D. at the UW.
