About Ryan Dodge
Ryan Dodge III, MD, is a board-certified anesthesiologist who specializes in adult cardiothoracic anesthesia, with a focus on complex cardiac and thoracic perioperative care.
Dr. Dodge believes in a patient-centered, team-based approach to care, emphasizing clear communication, safety, and shared decision-making. He prioritizes meticulous perioperative planning and collaboration with surgical and critical care teams to optimize outcomes for each patient.
Dr. Dodge’s clinical expertise includes anesthetic management for cardiac and thoracic surgery, perioperative transesophageal echocardiography, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and care of patients undergoing complex valve surgery, mechanical circulatory support management, and thoracic organ transplantation. He is also an Assistant Professor of Anesthesiology at the University of Washington.
