Russell Saneto, D.O., Ph.D., is a board certified neurologist at Seattle Children's Hospital and a UW professor of Neurology and an adjunct professor of Pediatrics.

Dr. Saneto specializes in pediatric neurology and epilepsy. He strives to create active partnerships with his patients and their families to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Saneto earned his M.D. from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, Des Moines, Iowa. He is board certified in Neurology with special qualifications in Child Neurology and Epilepsy. His clinical interests include diagnosis and treatment of mitochondrial disease, intractable seizures, epilepsy surgery candidates, neurometabolic and neurogenetic disorders. His research interests include translational research.
