About Richard W. Tobin
Richard Tobin, M.D., is a board certified physician and director of Gastroenterology at the Eastside Specialty Clinic and a UW professor of Gastroenterology and Medicine. He has been listed in “The Best Doctors in America” and a Seattle Top Doctor by Seattle Met Magazine.
Dr. Tobin has extensive experience in endoscopic procedures and colon cancer prevention, gastroesophageal reflux and esophageal motility. He strives to treat patients with compassion and the highest quality of care.
Dr. Tobin earned his M.D. at Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He is board certified in both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American College of Gastroenterology and American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy. He is on the editorial review board for the journal Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and is past president of the Pacific Northwest Gastroenterology Society.
