About Reema Navalurkar
Reema Navalurkar, MD, is a board-certified internist who specializes in geriatric medicine. Dr. Navalurkar is committed to providing compassionate care that centers the unique experiences and needs of our community’s older adults. By prioritizing cultural humility and harm reduction, she seeks to create a non-judgmental environment where our patients and their care partners feel respected and valued.
Dr. Navalurkar is skilled in caring for older adults with complex medical and social needs. She is particularly invested in supporting families as they navigate challenging transitions in life as well as in medical decision-making. She is dedicated to serving historically marginalized populations, including those aging with HIV. Dr. Navalurkar is also an Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice in the Division of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine, Department of Medicine, at the University of Washington.
Personal Interests
Dr. Navalurkar enjoys running, volleyball, and pickleball. She can also often be found watching baseball (Go Mariners!) and reading "whodunit" novels.
