She does not rush and is willing to dive deep into the details of the diagnosis, procedure and follow up care. She is also willing and able to discuss and consider alternatives (if any) and the potential consequences of those alternatives. This allows the patient to make informed tradeoff decisions about their health. She is also well versed in the current stats and research related to the procedure, medications and potential complications (both immediate and future).
