About Ravi S. Hira
Ravi Hira, M.D., is a board certified cardiologist at Harborview, director of UW Acute Cardiac Services and Cardiac Catheterization and a UW assistant professor of Cardiology and Medicine.
Dr. Hira treats patients with heart attacks, coronary and peripheral artery disease, and performs cardiac catheterization and placement of stents. He strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Hira earned his M.D. from Seth G.S. Medical College, Mumbai, India. He completed his internal medicine residency, and cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology fellowships at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas. He is quadruple board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Echocardiography and Interventional Cardiology. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. His clinical and research interests include acute cardiac care and quality improvement.

In his spare time, Dr. Hira enjoys travelling, hiking and photography.
