Raj Shah, M.D., is a board certified physician at Northwest Hospital and Medical Center and a UW instructor of Pulmonary and Critical Care.

Dr. Shah strives to build a therapeutic relationship with every patient he cares for, with the goal of helping patients with respiratory disease improve their health and quality of life. He is excited to help patients understand their illness and encourage them to become active participants in their care.

Dr. Shah earned his M.D. from the University of Illinois. He is triple board certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine and Pulmonary Disease. His clinical and research interests include asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, bronchiectasis and chest infections.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Shah enjoys bicycling, reading, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
