About Raimund H. Pichler

Raimund Pichler, M.D., is a board certified physician at Kidney Care & Transplantation Services at UW Medical Center and a UW associate professor of Medicine and Nephrology.

Dr. Pichler strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Pichler earned his M.D. at the University of Vienna. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology. His clinical and research interests include diabetic kidney disease, renal failure in patients with liver disease, glomerulonephritis, hypertension, kidney transplantation, developing guidelines for the evaluation of patients with ESLD and concomitant renal failure, mechanisms of tubulointerstitial injury and experimental models of renal disease.
