Raghu Durvasula, M.D., M.H.A., is a board certified physician at the Medical Specialties Center and associate medical director for inpatient care and medical director of dialysis services at UW Medical Center. He is also a UW associate professor of Medicine and Nephrology and an adjunct associate professor of Health Services.

Dr. Durvasula has a broad range of interests in general nephrology including the management of patients with chronic kidney disease and glomerular disorders. He strives to consistently deliver evidence-based care to each and every patient in a manner that is aligned with their individual goals and values. To him, this means forging a partnership with patients, one that is built on respect and understanding.

Dr. Durvasula earned his M.D. at McGill University in Montreal and his M.H.A. at the UW. He is engaged in a variety of process improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care delivery and patient experience.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Durvasala enjoys spending time with his family, taking in all that life in the beautiful Northwest has to offer. In addition to being loyal supporters of Husky Nation, he enjoys participating in a variety of sports including skiing, running, golf and baseball.
