Pratik V. Patel, M.D., is a board certified anesthesiologist and neurointensivist at Harborview and a UW assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Patel provides care to patients undergoing procedures and surgeries requiring anesthesia and to patients needing neocritical care for central nervous system diseases. He strives to provide the best possible care to every patient.
Dr. Patel earned his M.D. at the University of Illinois. He is triple board certified in Anesthesiology, Neurocritical Care and Neurology. Dr. Patel’s clinical interests include traumatic brain injury, neurovascular disease, spinal cord injury and acute neuromuscular respiratory failure. His research interests include intracerebral hemorrhage, therapeutic hypothermia, subarachnoid hemorrhage and brain death.
In his spare time, Dr. Patel enjoys hiking, running, reading and traveling internationally.
